Our Teachers
“The spiritual teachings I’d received so many years ago came rushing back with a new and profound sense of knowing and clarity. It dawned on me then that I had understood something that can help other seekers on the path of self realization.”

“While many teachers focus on methods I focus more on understanding of our own path, thereby giving more depth to our individual method whatever it may be”
— Śūnyatā
Born in 1972, Śūnyatā practiced yoga from 1987 to 1995 under the guidance of Swami Rama of the Himalayas and Swami Veda Bharati in the Himalayan Institute of Hamburg, Germany, as well as the Sadhana Mandir Ashram in Rishikesh, India. He served his community as a medical doctor in Germany for 18 years, focusing on integrative medicine and alternative therapies such as acupuncture and anthroposophic medicine. In 2018, through a shamanic experience in the Colombian Andes, his spiritual teachings of decades past were reawakened in a way that would profoundly alter the course of his life. His teachings revolve around yoga, eastern and western esotericism, magic and zen-buddhism. He offers teachings in the form of classical lectures as well as seminars and individual coaching sessions.
“I help people strengthen our collective connection to Pachamama Mother Earth, the great spirit, and the ancestors.”
— Fabian
Colombian-born medicine man — or taita in his native tongue — Fabian has worked as a shamanic practitioner, presiding over countless ceremonies involving the use of traditional indigenous plant medicine, since 2002. He is a "guardian of the fire" and Yachaj Runa, initiated by the Kuichy Wasi community. Fabian’s mission is to act as a conduit between his indigenous roots and Western culture, in honor of his ancestors, by sharing their ancient wisdom, traditions, harmony with the natural environment, and the ancestral medicines of the Colombian Amazon.
“The enthusiasm of the heart spontaneously manifests in the voice of the song, in dance, and in the body’s rhythmic movements.”
— Nayatf
Born in Colombia in 1974, a dancer by nature and expert in the I Ching and its oracular practice, Nayatf was initiated into the circles of ancestral medicine in 2001. In 2012, she began sharing sacred medicine with others as an intermediary, accompanying them in their physical, emotional, and spiritual healing processes. Today, Nayatf continues to devote herself as a medicine woman, mother and sister consecrated to the service of humanity using shamanic techniques of music and dance in ancestral healing rituals, always working to strengthen our collective communion with Mother Earth and awaken the consciousness in each of us.
“I give thanks to God and to the sacred medicine of the plants I’ve found along my way to physical and spiritual healing.”
— Juan
Born in 1967 in Colombia, a professional singer-songwriter all his life, Juan was first introduced to sacred plant medicine in 2010. Since then, he has dedicated his life in earnest, not only to his own healing, but also that of others through the power of ancestral healing rituals. Sharing his wisdom through spoken word and music — whether of his own creation or that of his ancestors — Juan accompanies seekers from all walks of life in their respective healing journeys. With music and vibration as his tools, he works to empower the inner teacher in all of us, to awaken the spirit and elevate the conscious.
“Humans… I mean, most of us go about life reacting to stimuli based on some unconscious trauma we suffered when Mom deprived us of breastfeeding that one time at Aunt Martha’s in 1968. I think it’s time we confront that.”
— Mike
A California native and world traveler with an affinity for Latin America, Mike was on a monthslong road trip along the U.S. West Coast in 2017 when he experienced an unexpected spiritual opening — after being agnostic and uninterested in spirituality for most of his life — that would lead him to question everything he believed and thought to be true, and ultimately reject what he calls the “prescribed life plan.” In 2018, he traded in the American Dream for a sprawling, rural mountain farm high in the Colombian Andes, where he continues to develop his ecological retreat center and deepen his yoga practice.
